Do you wear a watch?

Scene 1: When I’m a teaching a lesson, I would steal glimpses of my watch to time my teaching.
Scene 2: Sir Ken Robinson, British writer and speaker with an interest in how we kill talent in education, likes to joke about the fact that young people today don’t wear watches: ‘They don’t need to; and they think a watch has only 1 function, unlike a mobile phone.’
Scene 3: These days when I’m observing a lesson taught by a student teacher, I notice that they often steal glimpses of the clock on the classroom wall. They don’t have a watch.
Scene 4: Do you wear a watch? If not, you’re still a young teacher.
